Summer Scents

I love a good summer scent, even if I have absolutely no idea how to write about them. Here's the lowdown on which four scents I've been loving this summer and will probably end up being year-round staples because I love them that damn much. Please forgive my inability to describe scents. Thanks.

Marc Jacobs Dot Eau de Parfum - Jasmine, vanilla musk, and red berries. This perfume just sings (a more delicate way of saying SCREAMS, I feel) summer. I find this perfect for daytime wear and not too heavy at all.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Parfum - Another woody-floral fragrance, I find this much better suited for evening summer excursions. A more sophisticated scent, this perfume stays classic whilst avoiding being generic. I must like jasmine because this also has the gorgeous flower as its heart note.

The Body Shop White Musk Eau de Toilette - When I'm not feeling for a full-on, heavy scent, I sometimes opt for this failsafe from The Body Shop. All of their scents are to die for, and this classic musk contains notes of vanilla, lily, and rose. Yum. I find Body Shop scents really well priced as well so rarely fork out for a fully-fledged designer perfume.

The Body Shop Vanilla Body Mist - Last but certainly not least is the scent I wear almost daily, spritzing on as I leave the house. I feel like you can't go wrong with vanilla, especially when it's from The Body Shop. I'm a huge fan of their vanilla body butter and have no issue with smelling like it all day long.

What are your favourite summer scents?
